RIP Jim McNally

Published on Aug 09, 2019 03:29 pm

I’m very sorry to pass on the news that Jim McNally, vice-president and friend of the club, passed away suddenly last Saturday 3rd August 2019.

Jim’s passing is deeply regretted by his sister Shevaun, brother Diarmad, sister-in-law Jen, nieces and nephews Lucia, Lloyd & Lyra, his extended family, neighbours and very good friends.

Jim opened the bowling on the 4th and 5th XIs during the 80s with no little skills and guile. He was as well known for his sense of humour as his bowling prowess. After a hiatus of a decade or so, Jim reconnected with the club in recent years and became a loyal supporter. He will be missed by all those who shared the field or a drink with him. Rest in peace Jim.

At the time of writing, funeral details hadn’t been published. Please keep an eye on www.rip.ie .
