EY Hockey League

Our Men’s and Ladies’ first teams both took part in the EY Hockey League this year. Our Men’s team battled the season in a highly competitive league but unfortunately did not succeed in retaining their place in this league for next year. Well done to all for an extremely challenging and well fought season. Our Ladies’ firsts have succeeded in retaining their place in the EY Hockey League for next year but as a result of their final matches and other teams results unfortunately they narrowly missed out on a place in the Finals weekend.

Joey O’ Meara Cup

The Joey O’Meara Cup was a great success again this year with 8 clubs participating including Waterford HC who took part for the first time. With so many teams taking part Pembroke HC kindly agreed to host one of the matches. Three Rock Rovers were the winners of the 17th edition of the Boys U16 Joey O’ Meara Cup beating Monkstown HC 3-2 in a very tight final.
