Website Designer Needed

The Railway Union Hockey Club Website is in need of an overhaul – if you have IT/website design experience and can offer some of your time to help with this, it would be much appreciated. Please revert by return email if you think you can help.

FIH New Rules to Hockey

The FIH recently issued new rules of hockey for 2017 which can be found on the Leinster Hockey website, or by clicking here. These changes will come into effect across all competitions from 1st of January 2017.

Saturday was a remarkable day for cup fixtures in Railway – the ladies 5s, the men’s 5s and the ladies 2s games all WON their cup matches on penalties. Added to the men’s 1s victory over Kilkenny on Tuesday night – that makes 4 out of 5 cup victories from penalties! Well done to all teams and their brave penalty takers!

Fixtures

The men’s 1s take on Monkstown this week in the Neville Cup semi final – a repeat of last year’s final that Railway won 4-3. Let’s hope they have the same success this week.
