The following Railway Union players have been selected to represent Leinster and Ireland.
Leinster Under 16’s Girls Squad
Sophia Cole, Amy Elliott, Alex Orr will represent Leinster in the Under 16 Inter-Provincials in Cork in October.
Leinster Under 18’s Girls Squad
Kate O’Hogan, Michelle Carey, Niamh Carey, Katie Fearon, Nina Heisterkamp, Grace McLoughlin, Nimah Shaw will represent Leinster in the Under 18 Inter-Provincials in Cork in October.
Irish Under 21’s Women’s Panel
Following the U21 Inteprovincial series last weekend, U21 National Coach, Dave Passmore has announced a training panel and development group in preparation for the U21 EuroHockey Junior Championship in Valencia, Spain from 28 August to 3 September 2017.
The Training Panel includes Railway Union’s Michelle Carey. Niamh Carey features in the development panel. This is a very impressive achievement as the girls are just 17 years old.
