Release Forms

All  new members must provide a ‘Release Form’ in order to be eligible to play for Railway Union. Players must initiate this process by completing page 1 of the form and sending it to their former club.

With the season fast approaching, members are encouraged to do this ASAP.

Leinster Hockey Umpires Association – Open Rules Session

The LHUA will be holding their pre-season meeting in Pembroke Wanderers on the 14th of September at 8pm.

They have issued an open invitation to clubs and schools as follows :

Any coach, manager, club umpire or any one who wants to umpire are welcome. Come along and tell us how we are doing or not.Those questions about umpiring that may be nagging at you. No question is a stupid one they all inspire discussion. Learn about the association can help your club with umpire training.

Start of Season Bowls Social

Well done to Stephen O’Keeffe for organising the start of season bowls social. A big thank you to Pat Coady for providing advice and sharing his bowls expertise. Congratulations to Richie and Donal, RUHC bowls champions 2016!

Senior Club Subscriptions

Club subscriptions are now due.

Adult Subscription Rates:

Adult member: €420

Student member: €260

Unwaged/Unemployed: €260

Youth/Under 16: €175

 

New member rates

Adult member: €315

Student member: €195

 

Separate rates apply to junior girls and junior boys.

We recognise that some individuals may, due to work and family commitments, not be able to be available for large parts of the season and the club may be able to accommodate such “occasional” players through a discounted sub structure.  Talk to your Club Captain – Sarah McDonald or Graham O’Meara for more information.

A 10% discount on subs will be reimbursed to members who introduce a new playing member to the club. Reimbursements will be distributed at the end of the season.

 

How to pay

  1. Electronic transfer You can transfer money into the RU account, Bank of Ireland Account Number 18995069, Sort Code 90 09 73, IBAN IE93 BOFI 9009 7318 9950 69, BIC: BOFIIE2D. You MUST include your FULL NAME when making the transfer. This does not happen automatically so you must enter your name in the field ‘message to appear on receiver statement’. Check how to do this with your bank if you are unsure.
  2. Teamer – Teamer Payments notification will be sent to your phone this week.  Follow the options and set up the payment relevant to you. Teamer offers the option to pay your subs in installments. If you do not have a Teamer account, you can set one up here.

Subscriptions will not be accepted via cash or cheque.

Members are encouraged to start paying their subs as soon as possible

Subs must be paid by 31st October

If you have not paid/commenced paying your subs by 31st October 2016, you will be de-registered and ineligible for selection.

 

Outstanding subs from last season must be paid in advance of selection for this season.
