Social Media Milestone: 1500 Facebook Likes

The club passed the milestone of 1500 ‘likes’ on Facebook this week, with almost a similar amount of followers on Twitter.  This makes Railway one of the most popular rugby clubs in Ireland on social media and indeed the rugby club has the highest penetration on social media of all the sports in Railway.

Social media has become increasingly important in communicating the club’s message in our community and in attracting new members.  If you are not already following, you can do so on Facebook here and Twitter here.

Congratulations to our Head of PR & Marketing Anne Marie Moloney on this achievement.

Training & Recruitment Continues

Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday night for Girls U12/15/U18 (6pm), Women (7pm) and Men’s & U20s (7.30pm).

Recruitment is key across all of our teams and the club is always open to new members. If there is someone in your social circle, someone new who starts at work, moves into the area or whatever, there is a space for them at the club.  This includes both on and off the pitch.
