Claremont Railway has six grass and five Tiger-Turf artificial grass courts and is one of a very small number of tennis clubs to retain real grass courts, enabling members and guests to experience a sense of Wimbledon tradition from May to September every year.

All Tiger-Turf courts are floodlit and operate with tokens that are inserted courtside. Light tokens cost €4 each and last for approximately 1.5 hours. They are available from the bar in Railway Union or directly from Peter Daly 086-252-3539 or Mavis Donnelly 087-280-6059.

Courts may be booked a week in advance using the booking sheets in the tennis clubroom. Qualified tennis coaches are available for individual and group coaching. There is a practice wall and a ball machine Members also have access to the extensive sporting and social facilities of Railway Union Sports Club: Bridge, Bowling, Cricket, Hockey, Rugby and Soccer.
