Dear members,

Firstly, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of a former club-member, Gavin Ralston Junior, who passed away this week. Gavin played for Railway until 1991 and was on the winning Railway team for the Leinster Under 21 Cup that year.  Gavin was son of former first team coach and club Vice President Gavin Ralston Senior and as a mark of respect, the club held a minutes silence ahead of the mens first teams’ match this weekend.  There is a link to a tribute article to Gavin below. The club extends its deepest sympathies to Gavin’s family at this time.

Olympic Qualifiers Ticket Information
The FIH Olympic Qualifiers are being held in Energia Park, Donnybrook on November 2nd and 3rd. This is the Irish team’s chance to fulfil the dream of taking Ireland Women’s Hockey team to their first ever Olympics….. Tokyo 2020!!

A pre-sale release is being made available to all hockey clubs, schools and Hockey Ireland members – giving a 24-hour window for the hockey community to purchase their tickets in advance. In order to avail of this, the below Promo Code will need to be used

Ticket Information:
There are two categories of day ticket available – covered seating and terrace standing – with terrace standing prices from €10 for under 16s and €25 for adults.

Seats in the covered stand are €40 on Saturday and €35 on Sunday with a combined weekend ticket for €70. All seating is unassigned

Note that some ticket categories have limited numbers so BOOK EARLY AND AVAIL OF THE PRE-SALE WINDOW TO AVOID BEING DISAPPOINTED.

Hockey Ireland Registration:

Please complete this ( form to ensure the club can register you to Hockey Ireland. All members, junior, senior and vets should complete this form. Failure to register players will result in fines for the club and players being ineligible to play.


Club kit is available in Ed Sports which is located in Pembroke Hockey Club.

Volunteering within the club
The committee would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped with the 5k run and bake sale as well as the numerous members who have helped out with the following over the past few weeks:
